Tactile, percussive instantaneity
#1
By my title, "Tactile, percussive instantaneity", I mean that from the instant when my finger touches my keyboard to when I hear the piano note, there's a subtle lag of a split-second.  I don't experience this lag, of course, when I press the key of an actual piano.  When I play an actual piano, you have the satisfying sense that the note comes pretty much instantaneously with your finger pressing.

If you only play actual instruments, you can take this feature for granted, but when you transition to a virtual piano, like this one, you are suddenly reminded of this.  Is this lag technically impossible to fix?
